Let’s assume you are doing everything right. You’re eating perfectly and exercising right, for your body type. But, you’re not losing weight!
So, what do we do?
First we check for sleep problems and then pain in your body. We now treat accordingly.
Next, we look at medications. Something you and your prescribing doctor should be watching and hopefully trying to reduce. We do know that the following types of medications will cause weight gain: Insulin, Prednizone, Hormone Replacement Therapy, Birth Control Pills, Diuretics, High Blood Pressure meds, High Cholesterol meds and psychiatric meds.
Next, we make sure the person in not eating sugar, artificial sweeteners or drinking alcohol (even the hidden ones).
You know what sugar does for 24 to 48 hours?
We also check for eating flavored yogurt, what type of salad dressing you use, MSG (also under all those new names) and junk foods. Even if you only have a little bit, it will cause a lot of fat-storing.
